This page is dedicated to every life lost to suicide — whole people, loved completely, who deserved more time. We say their names. We carry them forward.

Their lives meant something. That is not a comfort I offer lightly — it is the thing I have staked everything on. They were not small, were not wasted, were not the sum of the worst moment. And the only answer I have found to the question of what to do with that — the only one that has held — is to make sure another family doesn't have to find their way through the dark alone.

He Is the Reason We Show Up

Beyond The Shadows was not built for Malachi. It was built because of him — for every other parent, sibling, and family member who finds themselves standing in the dark with nowhere to turn.

Malachi was a son, a brother, a whole person who carried more than anyone around him knew. He loved music. He was funny. He was loved deeply and completely — and that love did not fail him. The darkness that took him was larger than any one person's love could fight.

His name is in everything we do. Every family we reach, every resource we distribute, every phone call we make — that is Malachi's life continuing to mean something. That is the promise his father made, and keeps making, every single day.

He is the first light on this wall. He will never be the last.
